Department deals with various science subjects viz., Engineering Mathematics-I, and II, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, and various basic engineering subjects viz., Engineering Mechanics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Computer programming, Workshop practice, and Communication skills.

We encourage our students to develop an interdisciplinary approach of problem solving by providing them with a brief glimpse into some of the major branches of engineering. For overall development of the students we conduct various co-curricular & extra-curricular activities, effective planning and organizing, coordinating and teaching learning process. The department has well equipped laboratories, computer centers with internet connectivity, furnished classrooms.  

First Year Engineering Department has well qualified, dynamic, and experienced faculty who motivate the students to prosper in their academic and professional career.
