Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering studies started as Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineering graduates find jobs in power stations, whether atomic, hydro or thermal power plants and in large industries as engineers and managers. An electrical engineer is responsible for installation, maintenance and operation of power handling equipments and systems. Industries manufacturing large electrical machines and equipments employ electrical & electronics engineers in design, production and testing of electrical equipments. They get jobs in public and private sector industries such as railways, civil aviation, and all types of manufacturing plants. They can also get into teaching in India or abroad or continue with research in laboratories.
