Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.

Department of Civil Engineering has been established in 2009 with an intake capacity of 60 students. Department has well equipped laboratories with dedicated efforts of faculty members, the students have shown their talent and excellence in academics, sports and in various co-curricular activities at different places by winning many Awards and Color coats. Department organizes several technical events every year to foster skills through Site visits, industrial training, Special Guest lectures, and workshops organized by Civil Engineering Student Technical Forum and Indian Concrete Institute Student Chapter. Field knowledge and Experience is imparted to student through Internship to make them aware with latest Construction Technologies, Testing and Consultancy Services and research work. We are also contributing in Rural Development program by undertaking UG Projects under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. Department faculties are contributing in Institute Development by representing them as Coordinator of Amenities/Works & Maintenance Cell; NSS Cell, Institute-Industry Interaction Cell, Extracurricular and Enrichment Cell for supporting the Quality policy “Quest for Excellence” of the Institute.
